RG 94-422. Land acquisition files that document property purchased by the State of Michigan for public use. These lands were set aside as state forest and game areas, recreation areas, and state parks. Many were purchased under the federal Pittman-Robertson Act (Wildlife Restoration Act, Public Act 415), which was passed September 2, 1937.
